Biography

Amber lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with her husband and four dogs. She has been working in education for 16 years, has an MFA in cross-curricular education, and is currently in the Doctoral program at Baylor University in the Organizational change in learning program. Her focus is on advocacy for newcomer families in the US public school system, teaching families their rights and how to navigate the complex system that is the American public school.
